The Revoke Programme
Revoke delivers an intensive behavioural health and mental health treatment programme on an outpatient basis that is designed to fit around your day to day responsibilities.
We understand that poor mental health makes achieving your true potential very difficult and appreciate that most treatment programmes ask you to completely disconnect from your day-to-day life โ but this isnโt possible for everyone.
We do not host residents โ our clients come to The Revoke Programme for treatment sessions that total fifteen hours per week. This includes a weekly one-to-one therapy session, and group therapy sessions take place at the following times:
- Monday and Wednesday from 12:30 to 15:30ย and all day Saturday from 09:15 to 17:00
- Monday and Wednesday from 18:00 to 21:00ย and all day Saturday from 09:15 to 17:00
- Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 15:30ย and all day Saturday from 09:15 to 17:00
- Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00ย and all day Saturday from 09:15 to 17:00
Intensive outpatient recovery programmes are just as effective for almost everyone as their inpatient equivalent. Our choice to focus on outpatient work allows us to deliver the same core treatments as residential centres while enabling our clients to continue with their day-to-day activities. It also allows us to work alongside our clients as they incorporate the skills they learn with us into their daily lives.
Our status as an outpatient treatment provider allows us to offer direct support in bringing recovery home.
A TREATMENT PLAN DESIGNED FOR YOU
When you start treatment with us, we will assess you and design a personalised treatment plan that we will follow together. We offer a range of modalities as part of our plan, including:
- One-on-one individual sessions with a specialised therapist
- Customised treatment plans for neurodiverse individuals
- Guided group sessionsย
- Counselling
- Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT)
- Dual diagnosis and mental health services
- Ongoing aftercare
- Targeted trauma treatmentย
- Access to a wide range of sober meet-ups, events and nights out
a schedule that suits your lifestyle
The Revoke Programme is dedicated to making the benefits of exceptional mental and behavioural healthcare more accessible to all.
Everyone deserves to be able to take back control of their health, but people cannot always drop everything and spirit themselves away to a residential treatment centre. The Revoke Programme is focused entirely on recovery. We offer advanced and effective outpatient treatment, which means:
- Between therapy sessions, you can apply new skills and experiment with different strategies in your everyday life, reinforcing what you have learned and providing valuable feedback for future sessions.
- You will see immediate improvements in your health, performance and general well-being.
- Our evidence-based programme allows you to recover in real-time.
- The Revoke Programme avoids the transition from a controlled residential environment back to your normal life and the triggers and stresses you encounter on a day to day basis.
- We provide you with the skills you need to make permanent lifestyle changes and flourish in all aspects of your life.
We’ve scheduled our treatment programme to work around standard working hours and have endeavoured to build a treatment schedule that allows our clients to recover while leaving space and time for regular responsibilities.
The Revoke Programme takes place over three months and can be divided into:
assessment
We use the assessment process to evaluate your mental health, identify any compulsive behaviours, and check for the presence of other co-occurring medical conditions.ย
During your assessment, our team will gain a complete overview of your medical history to ensure our programme is as effective as possible. This part of the process enables our highly-specialised team to offer truly integrated treatment.
In some cases, clients will need to complement their therapeutic treatment with a medically assisted detox, and our assessments are valuable for identifying whether or not a client would benefit from this approach.ย
Once we have determined the scope of your mental and behavioural health needs, we can design your treatment plan and you will be invited to join the programme.ย
The first months of recovery are intense, and we use this time to help you build the skills you need to maintain sobriety when you graduate from the programme.
We offer evidence-based therapeutic support designed to help you get to the root cause of your problems.ย
FIRST MONTH: behaviour
The first month of treatment focuses on behaviour, addiction and maladaptive coping strategies.
Often when we experience mental health conditions, we find ways of dealing with them that may work in the short term but have serious and harmful side effects as time goes on. This includes behavioural addictions such as gambling and substance use.ย
Gaining self-knowledge is crucial for recovery. During this period of treatment, we focus on identifying patterns of harmful behaviour that result from our clientsโ mental states and help them work towards implementing meaningful change.ย
Our highly-specialised team of counsellors, coaches, and therapists will be on hand to support you, and we are fully licensed to treat behavioural health (including substance use and process addictions) and mental health disorders.
SECOND MONTH: TRAUMA AND MENTAL HEALTH
Our mental health underpins everything we do. During the second month of treatment, we examine the underlying causes for someoneโs mental state and start working on finding positive coping strategies that benefit us without causing harm.ย ย
The causes of mental health problems look different for everyone and can include:
- Work-related stress
- Relationship issues
- Past trauma
- Burnout
- Neurodiversity
Our sessions are structured so we work through issues collectively, sharing strengths and triumphs, and identifying weaker areas to focus on. Sharing a therapeutic space with others helps shine a light on our own behaviours and feelings, and provides valuable insights. Hearing others’ experiences lets us know that weโre not totally alone.
Third MONTH: life and relationships
During the third month of treatment, we focus on relationships and recovery, goal setting, and enabling an individual to achieve a higher sense of purpose.
As we work towards graduation, we look at rebuilding relationships that have been damaged, reaffirming the processes we have put in place to safeguard our mental health in both our professional and personal lives and creating a structured plan for the future.
At the end of month three, therapy continues to be available and we offer an individual aftercare programme where requested.
At Revoke, we pride ourselves on building a community of recovery and we encourage graduates to maintain involvement. Our alumni have access to our whole recovery network and the opportunity to attend meet-ups, social events and trips that we organise.
